Default Hard Mode idea: Stopping NM players joining HM teams and warning messages!

Aside from the fact that we need some kind of indication as to who is playing in HM and who in NM when in outposts....

....we also need a system to stop Normal Mode players from joining Hard Mode PUGs.

Im sure we have all been in a PUG (in the last few weeks) and had a player or party join who either doesnt want HM or cant do HM. The end result is your reset back to NM and/or you have to kick one or more people from the party.

Its annoying for both you're team and the person(s) being kicked.

If you have two PUGs join one another and one is doing HM and one NM, you end up breaking up the NM team when you kick them all.

My suggestion is that they add warning message(s) if you join a person or team doing HM. There would be two types of message depending on your status, reading either...

"This team is playing in Hard Mode, are you sure you want to join them?"

...if you have access to HM but you want NM.

Or if you cant do Hard Mode...

"This team is playing in Hard Mode and you are unable to do so. You cannot join the team!"

...If a player tried to join a Hard Mode team and they are unable to play in Hard Mode , then a message is shown to all party members saying...

"[Player name] is unable to play in Hard Mode, and cannot join your team!".

...This should prevent players joining PUGs they otherwise cant play with.

Ofcourse this would all work alot better along with some kind of indication as to who is doing HM and who NM! Such as icons over players heads for HM!

Or they could make it so that team leader decides whatever it is NM or HM.

*scratches head*

Thats what already happens! You can only NOT set it to hard mode (i.e change the icon) if someone in your party isnt able to do Hard Mode in that campaign.

But even so, you still get people who can do hard mode, who join your party but dont want to do HM. They join your party and you say "we're doing hard mode" and they reply with "Why? can we not do normal mode?".

Its just laughable the number of times someone has joined a HM pug im in and said "why are u doing HM? i cant NM, can we not do NM"! You feel like slapping them.

Sorry mini rant and you were signing anyway!

You've actually just given me another idea for a suggestion! A "im going solo" button that you can tick and when people try to invite you they get a message back saying "This adventurer wants to go solo"!
